Lampropeltis mexicana (San Luis Potosí Kingsnake)
Vicinity of San Francisco (just W of Valle de los Fantasmas), San Luis Potosí
These south-facing slopes contain extensive limestone rocks with a mix of cactus and agaves, and are located just below the oak belt. Elev. ca. 6500 ft/1980 m. (July 2005).
